Taking CARE of business on Cape Cod the Christian way!

c Christianity- Our number one purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.  That being the case, the central purpose of this site is for us to have fellowship as Christians with a common bond.  The common beliefs and values that we have give us a great foundation for fellowship and for working with one another.  This fellowship will lead to relationships that grow over time. As we grow in unity and fellowship, God is glorified.  Click here for details.
A Accountability- How often have you worried about referring work to somebody because you were not sure they would show up, do the work, keep their word, or just plain make you look bad?  This fellowship of business people will be willing to be held accountable so that we can be comfortable referring work to one another, or being advertised on the same site with the others here.  We will use Matthew 18 to help consumers and providers to settle differences so that fellowship will be maintained and God will be glorified.

There have been times where I have actually heard Christians say that they would not hire fellow Christians anymore.  There have been some who have worn the name "Christian" but not done business in an ethical way.  There have been some who have hurt many people by claiming to be Christian, but not working or walking in the Way.  To maintain integrity in our group, we will employ Matthew 18 to help with any disputes between consumers and people who are members of our group.  In verse 15, we read that if we are at odds with somebody, we need to go to them.  If the consumer has not yet done this, but complains to one of us about the behavior of another member, we are to direct them to do so.  If there is not a resolution, then one or two members will sit down and hear the dispute and try to help it to be resolved (verse 16).  If not, then verse 17 tells us to tell the church to warn others of this person's ways.  Being that we are willing to be held accountable in this way, it only makes sense that irresponsible people will not want to be part of the group.  That would mean that we would most likely not have many instances where we need to employ the third step of Matthew 18 in a dispute.  With this king of accountability, we can safely refer one another and share the site advertising our products and services, having confidence that we will not be sorry that we did so.
R Relationships- Quartlerly get-togethers, blogs, and coffee-break style meetings will help us get to know one another as Christians who are in business on Cape Cod.  We can bear one-another's burdens, support one another, and learn about each others' businesses. Relationships lead to referrals. People buy things and obtain services from people they like and trust.  People refer people they know or at least know about.  As we build relationships, we will also build our businesses. E Evangelism- We desire to spread the love of Christ, first and foremost.  The Great Commision is serious business.  Being decent, honest, Christian business people is the best witness that we can have. Being charitable and helpful are goals that we should always keep in the forefront. CapeCodChristian.com is going to excel in giving. A page for organizations that we support, a scholarship fund to equip saints for ministry, and more are in the works! Click here for details.
